Our Story, Mission, and Vision
I started working in this field of work on the East Coast, in Pennsylvania. There I learned the initial part of my trade from an old German craftsman. As in German tradition of apprenticeship, he was a dedicated mentor. Because of his dedication, I mastered the basics and fundamentals through his direct supervision and advice. He was strict, honest, and hardworking while holding the highest standards of aesthetics and quality.
His training inspired me to carry on with the tradition of being a hard working and knowledgeable craftsman who takes pride in his work and has a deep satisfaction watching highly satisfied customers that appreciate this dedication and quality of craftsmanship. I now pass on this tradition in the teaching and mentoring of my employees, which without a doubt translates into a better end product and customer experience. I enjoy creating things and working with my hands, especially working with wood and something as large and beautiful as a stair case.
As the industry has changed, my company has changed along with the current demand. Not only do we do custom wood stairs and rails, we also specialize in straight and curved glass, cables, horizontal rods, and wood and metal rail systems, along with mono stringer, circular, freestanding, and floating stairways.
